THE SPELLING BEE VI COMPETITION
" Finally, the D- day came!"
The sentence above will make a good paragraph within a "spelling bee" novella as one reminisce about the latest "spelling bee" competition in mountain crest school which held on Thursday, October 29th 2015 among the grade school pupils ranging from kindergarten to grade 5
there was a tie and some one needed to be untied
Having long prepared for this event, the pupils were thrilled as it began with the individual class teachers "acting out" a word non- verbally from their class pool of words as the pupils in each class discover and say the word to gain some marks for their class: the class representatives were later presented and after a long drill on the spelling of the word, meaning and sentence formation'
with that word, the class: Grade 2 Annex came first in the upper primary. On individual efforts, the following were crowned kings and queens.

- KING CHUKWUREH TOBECHUKWU (GRADE 5 PLATINUM) 2ND
- QUEEN EJIKEME ESTHER (GRADE 4 DIAMOND) 3RD
The will promote the English language culture, phonics, semantics etc withing their reign as king and queens
